I’m Sarah, a commercial and creative photographer based in the Lake District, working across the North of England and beyond.
I specialise in event photography, travel and tourism photography, editorial photography and commercial brand storytelling.
I work with purposeful brands, community-led organisations, women’s spaces and LGBTQIA+ communities to create imagery that feels authentic, powerful and deeply connected to place.
With a background in sociology and psychology, I’m fascinated by the relationship between people and place - how environments shape us, how we move through them, and how connection and belonging are created within them. That insight brings depth and meaning to everything I shoot.

As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I’m passionate about creating photography that reflects the diversity of the real world and shines a light on underrepresented voices.

Creative Practice: Abstract and Street Photography
Alongside my commercial photography, I maintain an active creative practice in abstract photography and street photography.
This is where I refine my eye, experiment with light and composition, and chase the magic in the everyday. That creative depth feeds directly back into my commercial work.
